We don't get a lot of snow in the Willamette Valley, but if you have ever lived in a colder climate you can appreciate the beauty of a new snowfall. Whether driving through the countryside or taking a walk through the woods, everything becomes different and magical. What might normally be considered an eyesore becomes a work of art when covered by a fresh blanket of snow. And when the snow comes out, thousands of sparkling diamonds reflect in the light of the sun.
Isaiah 1:18 is a promise from God to each one of us that when covered by His love, we too can be beautiful. No matter how dark. No matter how scarred. No matter how ugly. Our lives can also be white as snow in the light of the Son.
